You can always find a bigger hammer...
I have this theory based on 3 hammers:

The first one is a jewelers hammer; nice and small and with a gentle tap in the right place you can fix many things

Next is your standard "chippies" hammer. It requires a little more force, but it generally gets the job done

Lastly we have the 12lb sledgehammer; if it doesn't work now it was broken anyway and needed replacing! ;)
